Acho thank you for being the conduit to help heal racial tensions. You are a fine example of a man that not only wants change, but does something about it. I have friends of many colors and nationalities and love each and every one of them for their individuality and differences. We can learn something from everyone we meet in life. God bless.

This is one wise, intelligent, thoughtful man. I was distracted by his physical beauty and then when he started to speak so eloquently I was completely lost. Yeah, this fact speaks for itself. Also, black women have abortion 4 times the rate of white women in the US. Sometimes you have to look in the mirror to fix your own problems before you blame everyone else. Its very difficult to have a productive life if you dont have a father in your life to teach you how to respect women and to respect yourself. No one in the liberal run media has the parts to deal with the hard truth.

Yes, I love this! I also want to mention It is not just white people that are racist. There are many people of many different ethic groups that discriminate against black people. Furthermore, let us begin to tackle anyone that engages in discriminatory behavior. It’s about every human on this earth confronting the he part of them that feels entitled to treating anyone different from them in a preferential manner that harms or debilitated the others life. Everyone on this earth 🌍 needs to deeply examine their true and naked self and behavior.

I like this guy I believe he's a great speaker but unfortunately his uncomfortable conversation he just didn't go deep enough he only covered Maybe 20% of the BS that goes on if you want to have uncomfortable conversation ask questions like when a person gives you their driver's license deer registration and their proof of insurance why can't the traffic stop end at the ticket or so- called traffic infraction or when an individual says no you can't search my car it's like a penalty when you tell them no and then they think of a way to get you out the car like they claim they smell weed or they call for the K9 to get a false alert. I have a whole lot more but I'll leave it at that just trying to give you all and insight on how uncomfortable conversation should really go because I think he barely scratch the surface

Teme Tsehaye 19 өдрийн өмнө
I think some of you that are criticizing Emmanuel are missing the point a little bit. We never did anything bad to white people so there should be nothing to fear. What you are missing is that he’s trying to teach that anything that isn’t like you can cause you to act differently because you’re not used to that. Why? Because society has always told us that black people are dangerous and to be fearful. Let’s understand something this is not a United States issue this is a world issue. Black peoples have been oppressed because we were all told this, even black people are fearful of other blacks. Ignorance doesn’t mean you’re a bad person it just means your misinformed or uneducated. But we have protested peacefully we have protested in anger. We should be open to other ways to close the gap. At least he’s trying something. I will say if someone is always in denial then there just not a humane person period

Heather Phipps

@Sarah Holt-Salinas - You are making huge assumptions about BIPOC communities and how they see themselves which is incredibly racist all by itself. And you certainly did engage in blaming BIPOC communities with this statement: "Maybe the black communities need to begin having honest and discussions with each other and quit trying to find excuses that are unfounded." Yes, some white communities are impoverished and face challenges but those issues are never due to their skin color. Thus, a poor Black person not only has to worry about poverty, just as a poor white does, but they also have to be concerned about how they are perceived and treated due to their skin color since systemic racism is so rampant in our country. Plus the legacies of policies such as Jim Crow, redlining, segregated schooling, etc. still have an effect on BIPOC communities to this day. And we seem to agree about republikkkans use of racism via the southern strategy but we don't agree about the Democrats. They don't use critical race theory to divide and conquer but they do use identity politics as a shield to push through their neoliberal policies and agendas on behalf of their donor base. Overall, you don't seem very educated about systemic racism, its history and how its still part of every system in this country today, especially in education, housing and the injustice system. And one thing is very clear from your comments ... you are definitely not innocent of racism and you certainly haven't provided a bit of facts or logic in how you have presented your white supremacist belief system. You sound like Tuckkker Carlson, Sean Hannity or Ben Shapiro and all those other racist right wing talking heads which I'm sure you gleaned all these talking points from. Stop watching fake fox news and read some actual books about racism and the history of racist policies which have had lasting effects.
Heather Phipps
Heather Phipps 14 өдрийн өмнө
@Sarah Holt-Salinas - Yes I am aware that racism is a tool to conquer and divide. That's why the republikkkan party has been using it systematically as part of their Southern Strategy movement since the Nixon years. Your suggestion that "victim enabling" exists for BIPOC communities is unsubstantiated nonsense since you have provided no proof or even an example of how that is happening. On the other hand, here is proof that systemic racism does exist by Harvard experts: www.theroot.com/a-judge-asked-harvard-to-find-out-why-so-many-black-peo-1845017462
